NEW: Foundations of Biodynamic Stillness Work

September 2026 - JANuary 2027

A six-weekend live training in the essential principles of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic work is often taught through concepts, perceptual language, and descriptions of the tides.

But underneath all of that is a foundation that determines how we sit with another person, perceive, recognize Health, witness a session organize itself, and when intervention serves the work rather than interrupts it.

Foundations of Biodynamic Stillness Work is a six-weekend live training devoted to those foundations.

It is an opportunity to go beyond techniques and protocols into a way of working that can accomplish what they were designed to do with greater ease, precision, and elegance.

________________

Who This Training Is For

This training is open to practitioners who already work with the body, nervous system, movement, touch, or therapeutic relationship.

It may be particularly relevant for:

  • Massage therapists and bodyworkers
  • Osteopaths
  • Chiropractors
  • Craniosacral therapists of any orientation
  • Somatic practitioners
  • Manual therapists
  • Movement practitioners
  • Other clinicians interested in Biodynamic principles, stillness, perception, and self-organizing healing processes
  • For Sacred Recreation Biodynamic Foundations alumni: this training is also an opportunity to return to the foundations through my current teaching — including material that has evolved since earlier cohorts. The live format also offers the experience of revisiting the work in community, participating in guided practicums, asking questions directly, and receiving support with how these principles are showing up in your practice now.

No previous Biodynamic or craniosacral training is required.

For practitioners who already have training in craniosacral therapy or Biodynamics, this course offers an opportunity to revisit foundational principles at a deeper level and make them more explicit, embodied, and clinically usable.

Training Format

Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM Eastern Time (New York)

WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE

Weekend 1 — The Ground of Stillness

September 26–27, 2026

We begin with the foundation of the entire Biodynamic approach.

We will explore stillness not as the absence of movement, but as the ground from which movement, organization, and healing emerge.

We will establish the context and the conceptual framework – the breath of life, the tide, biorhythms – what they mean and how they interplay with each other

We will also begin distinguishing Biodynamic perception from more biomechanical ways of approaching the body.

Weekend 2 — The Embodied Practitioner

October 10–11, 2026

The practitioner is not outside the therapeutic process, but an integral part of it.

Our own embodiment, fulcra, orientation, and capacity to remain present without filters of judgement profoundly affect what becomes possible in a session.

We will explore practitioner readiness, embodiment, internal fulcra, and the perceptual conditions that allow deeper organization to reveal itself.

This weekend includes guided practicum.

Weekend 3 — The Relational Field

October 31–November 1, 2026

Biodynamic work does not happen simply within the client’s body.

It unfolds within a relational field.

We will explore how practitioner and client meet within that field, how attention and intention participate in the session, and how perception changes when we stop relating to the client as an object that needs to be corrected.

This weekend includes guided practicum

Weekend 4 — Session Architecture

November 14–15, 2026

What actually organizes a Biodynamic session? We will examine the architecture of a session from beginning to end:

  • Practitioner preparation and readiness
  • Establishing fulcra and embodiment
  • The client’s check-in and intention Recognizing how the session begins to organize
  • Following what unfolds without imposing a predetermined sequence
  • Handling completion

Rather than relying on a protocol, we will explore how a session becomes self-organizing and open-ended.

This weekend includes guided practicum.

Weekend 5 — Health and Clinical Integration

December 12–13, 2026

Biodynamics is fundamentally an orientation toward Health.

But what does that actually mean in practice?

We will explore how Health reveals itself, how to recognize its markers, and how to track meaningful change through the work.

This weekend brings the perceptual principles of Biodynamics into direct relationship with clinical practice.

Weekend 6 — Intervention in Service of the Tide

January 9–10, 2027

Biodynamic work is not synonymous with doing nothing.

The question is not whether we intervene, but from where intervention arises and what it is serving.

We will explore when intervention becomes appropriate, how it can remain in relationship with the organizing forces of the system, and how technique changes when it is no longer imposed from outside.

This final weekend brings together the perceptual, relational, and clinical foundations developed throughout the training.

This weekend includes guided practicum.

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

“When I started Liza’s course my main challenge was with confidence around the tide. It made me hesitant in giving sessions professionally. Liza’s knowledge is off the charts, a real real treat. Her generosity with sharing the knowledge. I felt I could ask her any question.”

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

"After each class/session with Liza I felt like a veil is lifted, even if I wasn't aware of it in that moment."

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

“Liza, your training is beyond excellent. I have learned and am still learning and evolving my work practice, and teaching through your teaching and mentorship. The relationships and sharing of sessions between fellow students has also been life-changing.”

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

"Liza Borodkina 's training was so incredible that in spite of charging Indian pricing and having paid for her course in USD, I still made my money back within 4 months. And that's really something. Plus I started making my money back even before I completed her training."

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

"The one person who teaches touch free craniosacral work which works way faster, and with better results is Liza Borodkin. I highly recommend you learn from her. Even the way she explains the basics, none of the schools explain it that way. After investing in her course, my clients have gone up like crazy and their shifts have been outstanding."

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

"Thank you Liza!! Words don't do justice the infinite gratitude I feel about this huge transformation I went through during this training. Deeply touching on a personal and professional level. I had already felt that my purpose lies in this work, but had no satisfying access to it. You really have this amazing gift of making abstract concepts understandable and relatable. I've gained so much clarity in my work. And working really with the tide has been an absolute game changer for me. Leaves me in constant amazement of the wonder of creation, deeply humbled, connected. And my trust in myself and the tide grows with every session. I now approach sessions with so much more confidence, joy and curiosity. Absolutely life changing for me. It's sooo fulfilling to finally do what I love with more ease. Really feels like coming home. I feel so blessed to have met you. Amazing teacher and precious soul.Thank you!!! 🙏🥰"

WHAT RECENT GRADUATES SAY

“Thank you so much Liza. I don’t know how to express how grateful I am for this opportunity to be learning with you. I have shared before how I have wanted to learn this for years and didn’t know how I could. I’m so very grateful!! You are an amazing teacher! Thank you for helping me.”

WHY THIS TRAINING?

Many practitioners learn techniques before they learn how to perceive what is actually organizing the work.

Biodynamic Stillness Work begins somewhere else it asks us to become interested not only in what we do, but from where the doing arises.

Not simply:

  • What technique should I use?

But:

  • What is organizing this system?
  • From where am I perceiving?
  • How do I recognize Health rather than search for dysfunction?
  • How do I know when to wait, when to follow, and when intervention is actually called for?
  • What changes when the practitioner is no longer directing the process, but participating intelligently in something larger?

This is the territory we will explore together.
